Consumer packaging is branding at its finest. Packaging for many is the only place that they advertise and it is the actual place where purchase decisions are made. Package design is not simple graphic design. It must understand messaging priority, priority of read, what graphic elements mean to a client and much more. Good packaging design will get a customer to try your product the first time and if the product is good, it will keep them coming back. And all of this needs to communicate with the customer in 3-5 seconds. It’s the purest form of design.
